Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd. (BRIGHOTEL.NS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises Ltd., owns and develops hotels primarily across South India; the company operates nine hotels with 1,604 keys in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru, and Ahmedabad's GIFT City, managed by global operators including Marriott, Accor, and InterContinental Hotels Group in upper upscale, upscale, upper-midscale, and midscale segments; properties offer comprehensive amenities such as fine dining, specialty restaurants, meeting venues, lounges, swimming pools, spas, and gymnasiums, with several achieving EDGE certification for energy and water efficiency. Incorporated in August 2016 and headquartered in Bengaluru, India, where Brigade Enterprises pioneered hospitality in June 2004 with branded serviced apartments under the Brigade Homestead brand, BHVL ranks as the second-largest owner of chain-affiliated hotels in South India among major private operators with at least 500 rooms. In August 2025, the company signed a multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to develop six new properties under brands including The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott, located in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kerala, and Thiruvananthapuram, adding approximately 940 keys with openings from FY2027 to FY2030 and expanding the Marriott portfolio to eight hotels with 1,388 keys; BHVL announced a Rs 3,600 crore investment plan in October 2025 to add nine new hotels, doubling the portfolio to 18 properties and around 3,300 keys by FY2030, with 450 keys targeted for FY2027; these initiatives build on a nearly 15-year Marriott partnership and support inorganic growth strategies alongside operational enhancements like technology upgrades and revenue optimization.
