Business
Cris-Tim Family Holding S.A. is a Romania-based integrated agribusiness and food processing holding company engaged primarily in the production, processing, distribution, and retail of meat products, dairy goods, ready-to-eat meals, and agricultural commodities. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, the company operates an integrated farm-to-fork business model comprising agricultural cultivation, dairy farming, modern food manufacturing facilities, and a dedicated temperature-controlled supply chain. The company operates through five principal business segments: Meat Processing, which manufactures and markets cooked and smoked sausages, salamis, frankfurters, hams, bacons, traditional specialties, and portioned fresh meats under brands such as Cris-Tim, Matache Măcelaru', and Alpin; Dairy Products, which processes raw milk from proprietary and partner farms into pasteurized milk, artisanal and traditional cheeses, telemea, cașcaval, yogurt, kefir, sana, sour cream, and butter under the Cris-Tim and Ecoferm labels; Convenience and Ready Meals, which produces chilled ready-to-eat meals, convenience dishes, salads, and packaged sandwiches marketed under the Bunătăți de la Cris-Tim brand; Agriculture and Livestock, which cultivates cereal and forage crops and operates dairy cattle breeding facilities through its Ecoferm division; and Logistics and Retail, which manages cold-chain warehousing, nationwide distribution fleets, and proprietary specialized food stores. Cris-Tim Family Holding serves modern retail chains, hypermarkets, supermarkets, independent grocery stores, and the hospitality and food service (HoReCa) industry across Romania, while also exporting packaged food products to several European Union markets with significant Romanian communities, including Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Cyprus. In recent developments, the group executed a comprehensive corporate reorganization to consolidate its production, farming, and commercial subsidiaries under Cris-Tim Family Holding S.A. and completed the issuance and listing of corporate bonds on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the ticker CFH to finance operational investments and optimize its capital structure. Operationally, the company has undertaken major modernization and sustainability projects, including the installation of extensive rooftop photovoltaic solar power systems at its primary production hub in Filipeștii de Pădure to increase energy efficiency, the adoption of advanced automation and high-capacity packaging lines, and the ongoing expansion of its clean-label product portfolio formulated without artificial preservatives, food additives, or allergens.
