Business
GR Holding S.A. is a Peru-based investment holding company that operates as an asset management and operational conglomerate primarily active in real estate development, hospitality, parking facility management, and mineral resource exploitation. Founded on December 20, 1977, and headquartered in Lima, Peru, the company operates as a principal investment vehicle of Grupo Raffo and is a subsidiary of Santa Aurelia S.A., with its shares publicly traded on the Bolsa de Valores de Lima under the ticker symbol GRHOLDC1. Originally incorporated as Inmobiliaria Los Portales S.A., the company changed its corporate name to LP Holding S.A. in 1996 before adopting its current corporate denomination, GR Holding S.A., in 2013. The company conducts its operations across five core business segments: Real Estate and Urban Development, Hospitality, Parking Management, Mining, and Corporate Management Services. Through its real estate division, operated through Los Portales S.A., the company develops and commercializes urban land habilitation projects; single-family and multifamily residential housing; social housing developments under state-sponsored financing frameworks including Fondo MIVIVIENDA and Techo Propio; and commercial real estate assets across Metropolitan Lima and key regional departments such as Piura, Chiclayo, Ica, Huancayo, and Trujillo. Through its Hospitality segment, the company owns, manages, and operates full-service and boutique hotels catering to business and leisure travelers in key commercial and cultural destinations across Peru, including properties in Cusco, Piura, Chiclayo, and Tarma. Through its Parking division, the company manages and operates structured and surface parking facilities, automated parking fee collection systems, access control infrastructure, and parking valet operations across shopping centers, financial districts, healthcare clinics, transit hubs, and commercial airports. Through its Mining segment, the company holds equity interests in mineral exploration and extraction enterprises, including Compañía Minera Kolpa S.A., which operates the Huachocolpa polymetallic mining unit in the Huancavelica region to extract, concentrate, and sell zinc, lead, and copper concentrates, as well as Compañía Minera Constanza S.A., which focuses on mineral exploration and mining concession development. Additionally, the company provides portfolio management, corporate administration, financial advisory, and strategic consulting services to its operating subsidiaries and affiliate enterprises. In major recent developments, GR Holding S.A. completed the acquisition of the remaining 50.0% equity interest in Los Portales S.A. from Mexican infrastructure conglomerate Constructoras ICA S.A. de C.V. and its affiliate YRPZA S.A. de C.V., thereby terminating a multi-decade joint venture and consolidating 100% equity ownership and operational control of the real estate developer. In an aligned strategic realignment, the company restructured its parking assets through the sale of a majority interest in Los Portales Estacionamientos S.A.C. to private equity investment manager AC Capitales SAFI, retaining a strategic minority equity interest while reallocating capital resources toward large-scale urban habilitation projects and high-demand affordable housing developments across Peru.
