Business
Verity Resources Limited (ASX: VRL; OTC: BWNAF) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on precious and supply critical metals including gold, nickel, copper, silver, platinum group elements, cobalt, rare earth elements and lithium. Incorporated in 2007 and headquartered in Nedlands, Western Australia, the company holds 100% ownership of the Monument Gold Project near Laverton in Western Australia, which hosts a resource of 3.3 million tonnes grading 1.4 grams per tonne gold for 154,000 ounces across the Korong and Waihi deposits along banded iron formations, with additional potential in intrusion-hosted and basalt-hosted targets; the Maibele North copper-nickel-silver-PGE project in Botswana, containing an inferred resource of 2.4 million tonnes grading 0.72% nickel and 0.21% copper plus PGE, cobalt and gold credits, alongside high-grade copper-silver discoveries at Airstrip and Dibete within a 1,800 square kilometre portfolio; and a 70% joint venture interest in a Brazilian exploration portfolio covering 17,000 hectares across 10 licenses, targeting rare earth elements at Caldera, Caldera South and Pocos de Caldas projects, lithium in the Lithium Valley of northern Minas Gerais, gold and PGE at Padre Paraiso and other sites. Operations span Australia, Botswana and Brazil, targeting junior miners, strategic partners and supply chain participants in established mining districts with proximity to infrastructure such as roads, gas pipelines and smelters. In recent developments, the company changed its name from SI6 Metals Limited in November 2024 to reflect its expanded portfolio; completed in February 2024 the acquisition of an initial 50% interest in the Brazilian joint venture from Foxfire Metals Pty Ltd with a minimum AUD1 million year-one expenditure commitment, later increasing to 70% for future licenses; secured 100% ownership of its Botswana polymetallic assets in December 2025 through a US$206,000 acquisition of the remaining 34% stake from BCL Investments under a farm-in agreement, incorporating over $4 million in prior exploration spend; and advanced drilling campaigns at Monument Gold including extensions of BIF-hosted mineralization beyond existing resources, alongside initial exploration such as auger drilling in Brazil.
