- Concourse Capital Focused Equity ETF (CCFE) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in a concentrated portfolio of 20-30 mid-cap equity securities exhibiting significant discrepancies between their intrinsic value and market price. The fund employs a value-oriented strategy, focusing on U.S. and Canadian companies in transitional phases such as management changes, mergers and acquisitions, deleveraging, post-bankruptcy reorganizations, or operational turnarounds; it targets firms with mid-teens compound intrinsic value growth potential, quality management, strong capital allocation, and favorable price mispricings due to temporary issues. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets plus any borrowing for investment purposes are allocated to equity securities, including common stocks, preferred stocks, real estate investment trusts, and American depositary receipts.
The ETF is sub-advised by Concourse Capital Advisors, LLC, which was established in 2025 specifically to manage CCFE and is led by Joseph L. Mathias IV, who previously served as portfolio manager for Concourse Capital Partners, L.P., from 2009 to 2024. The adviser has entered into a fund sponsorship agreement with the sub-adviser, under which the sub-adviser provides financial support to the fund in exchange for a share of advisory profits. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, at 309 East Paces Ferry Rd NE, Suite 400, the fund trades on Nasdaq and primarily targets U.S. investors seeking a high-conviction complement to passive index strategies with minimal overlap to the S&P 500.
Launched on Nasdaq on June 12, 2025, CCFE represents a recent market entry sponsored under the EA Series Trust structure. In September 2025, the fund updated its prospectus to reflect a change in distributor from Quasar Distributors, LLC to PINE Distributors, LLC, located in Denver, Colorado, with no affiliation to the fund, its adviser, or sub-adviser. As of late 2025, top holdings include Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (13.65%), WESCO International Inc. (9.45%), Lithia Motors Inc. (6.12%), and others across consumer cyclical, industrials, energy, healthcare, and consumer defensive sectors. No recent partnerships, acquisitions, funding rounds, or additional product launches beyond the initial ETF inception have been reported.
