China State Construction International Holdings Limited (3311.HK), an investment holding company, principally engages in construction contracting, infrastructure investment and operation, and related engineering services across Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, and overseas markets; its core operations encompass building construction and civil engineering projects including houses, buildings, hospitals, schools, and toll roads and bridges; foundation engineering works, prefabricated construction, curtain wall engineering, and facade contracting with building-integrated photovoltaics; provision of project consultancy, construction management, insurance brokerage, subcontracting, installation, repairs, and maintenance services; manufacturing and sales of precast structures, construction materials, aluminum windows, and related products; generation and supply of heat and electricity; as well as toll road operations and other peripheral activities such as site investigation and industrial plant reconstruction. Founded in 1979 with initial operations in Hong Kong, where it ranks among the largest general contractors, the company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in July 2005 and maintains its headquarters in Hong Kong, with business spanning 22 provinces and over 80 cities in mainland China, Macau, and select international locations including Africa, Australasia, and the Middle East. In recent developments, the company renewed continuing connected transactions with China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited through a new framework agreement for construction main contracts and facade construction, effective into 2028; entered a sub-construction engagement agreement with China State Construction Development Holdings Limited in March 2025 for contracting, engineering, consultancy, and management services over three years from July 2025; secured the West New Territories Landfill Extension Project in Hong Kong in March 2024 highlighting clean technology capabilities; completed public issuances of medium-term notes and corporate bonds by subsidiaries in mainland China in 2024; formed a joint venture company in October 2024; and achieved an MSCI ESG rating upgrade to BBB in August 2025, leading China's construction industry, alongside FTSE4Good Index inclusion for the eighth year.
