Business
Grid Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: CELL) is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing battery metal properties including lithium and copper projects essential for electric vehicle batteries; its principal assets comprise the Clayton Valley lithium project and Texas Spring lithium project, both located in Nevada, USA, featuring clay-hosted lithium deposits with Phase 1 exploration at Texas Spring yielding average grades of 2010 ppm lithium and up to 5610 ppm, the Volt Canyon lithium project in Nevada, and the Grid Copper project covering 27,525 hectares in north-central British Columbia, Canada, targeting copper mineralization prospective for gold-copper systems. The company, formerly known as Nickel Rock Resources Inc., changed its name in April 2023 and maintains headquarters in Coquitlam, British Columbia, with operations spanning Nevada and British Columbia amid favorable mining jurisdictions. In March 2025, Grid Battery closed the acquisition of the Grid Copper project from AC/DC Battery Metals Inc., a related party transaction involving 17 claims with no royalties or encumbrances, and filed an NI 43-101 technical report; it completed the first and second phases of its 2025 fall exploration program on the British Columbia gold-copper property in September 2025, building on 2024 drilling at Clayton Valley and ongoing advancement of its lithium portfolio.
