- Canfor Pulp Products Inc. produces and sells pulp and paper products worldwide from operations in the northern interior of British Columbia, Canada. The company, incorporated in 2010 and headquartered in Vancouver, operates through two segments; the pulp segment purchases residual fiber and manufactures Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft (NBSK) pulp, including premium reinforcing grades with a total capacity of approximately 780,000 tonnes annually (of which 300,000 tonnes has been indefinitely curtailed since August 2024), as well as Bleached Chemi-Thermo Mechanical Pulp (BCTMP), and generates energy revenues; the paper segment produces bleached, unbleached, and colored kraft paper with a capacity of 140,000 tonnes. Its pulp supports specialty products, premium tissue, printing, and writing papers delivered primarily to customers in North America and Asia, while paper products serve markets in North America, Asia, and Europe via two mills in Prince George, British Columbia. Canfor Pulp Products Inc. sold its Taylor BCTMP pulp mill site in 2024 and, as of December 2025, entered into an arrangement agreement for Canfor Corporation, which owns approximately 54.8% of its shares, to acquire the remaining outstanding common shares for either 0.0425 Canfor Corp shares or C$0.50 cash per share, representing premiums of 25% and 38% to recent trading levels, with the transaction pending court, shareholder, and regulatory approvals expected in the first quarter of 2026.
