Business
Global X S&P 500 Christian Values ETF (CHRI) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 500 Christian Values Screened Index. The ETF provides exposure to companies within the S&P 500 whose business practices adhere to biblical values as outlined by Bountiful Financial, LLC’s Christian Evangelical Framework, excluding those engaged in activities inconsistent with Christian beliefs such as certain media content, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, abortion, pornography, stem cell research, and human embryonic cloning. It offers investors a passively managed, tax-efficient vehicle for broad U.S. equity exposure aligned with faith-based principles; minimizes tracking error to the S&P 500 by matching sector weightings post-screening; and focuses on large-cap stocks across sectors including information technology (34.9%), financials (13.0%), and communication services (10.8%). Launched on September 24, 2025 by Global X Management Company LLC, a New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds headquartered in New York, the ETF represents the issuer's latest expansion into faith-based investing. CHRI was introduced to address growing demand for values-aligned products, building on Global X's thematic ETF platform with top holdings including NVIDIA Corp. (7.50%), Apple Inc. (7.05%), and Microsoft Corp. (6.13%). The fund operates primarily in the U.S. market, targeting individual and institutional investors seeking S&P 500-like returns with Christian ethical screens developed in partnership with Bountiful Financial.
