Established in 1999 and headquartered in Pune, India, the company formally adopted its current name in June 2023, having previously operated as Mahindra CIE Automotive Limited. It functions as a key subsidiary of Participaciones Internacionales Autometal, Dos S.L., part of the globally integrated CIE Automotive Group based in Spain.
