Business
CI Systems (Israel) Ltd. (CISY.TA) develops, manufactures, and markets advanced electro-optical precision test and measurement equipment worldwide. The company operates primarily through its Electro-Optics division, offering MIL-STD compliant test systems including blackbody radiation sources, VIS-SWIR integrating sphere sources, reflective and refractive collimators, thermal and visible sources, threat simulators, and customized turnkey test stations for multi-sensor systems such as FLIR, SWIR, visible cameras, laser systems, and airborne built-in test equipment; its Semiconductor division (CI Semi), providing in-line, real-time process monitoring tools like non-contact wafer temperature monitors for thermal, deposition, and wet processes, liquid concentration monitoring systems, and optical metrology solutions for semiconductor, photovoltaic solar cell, LED, and flat panel display manufacturing; and its Remote Sensing division, specializing in infrared spectroradiometry and spectroradiometric products for atmospheric remote sensing, signature analysis, and ground truth measurements, alongside the CI Sensing division for continuous gas and emissions monitoring systems leveraging electro-optics expertise to support environmental, social, and governance goals. Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Migdal HaEmek, Israel, CI Systems maintains facilities for research, development, production, sales, and support in Migdal HaEmek, Israel; Richardson and Carrollton, Texas, USA; and Aulnay-sous-Bois, France, serving defense, scientific, microelectronics, and civilian industrial markets across Western countries, Israel, Europe, the Far East, and other regions through local representatives and subsidiaries. The company employs approximately 179 people, with a focus on physicists, chemists, and engineers, and generates revenue primarily from the USA (about half), Israel, Europe, and the Far East. In recent years, CI Systems has expanded its semiconductor offerings with advanced in-line process analyzers and strengthened its CI Sensing division for gas monitoring to address ESG requirements, while maintaining steady operations amid a trailing twelve-month revenue of ILS 127.47 million and net income of ILS 3.55 million as of mid-2025, with no major acquisitions, partnerships, or reorganizations publicly reported in the last 1-2 years.
