Business
Conico Ltd (ASX:CNJ) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on base and precious metals projects. The company holds 100% interests in the Ryberg multi-element project spanning 4,521 square kilometers on the east coast of Greenland, 430 kilometers northwest of Iceland, targeting nickel, copper, gold, zinc and other minerals; the Mestersvig project, also on Greenland's east coast near the historic Blyklippen lead-zinc mine which produced 545,000 tons of ore; and a 50% joint venture interest in the Mount Thirsty cobalt-nickel-manganese project located 16 kilometers northwest of Norseman, Western Australia, which features a JORC-compliant resource of 16.7 million tonnes grading 0.14% cobalt, 0.60% nickel and 0.98% manganese and underwent a pre-feasibility study in 2020. Conico primarily explores for gold, lead, zinc, cobalt, copper, platinum group elements, nickel, manganese deposits and magmatic sulphides, serving the battery metals, critical minerals and precious metals sectors with operations in Australia and Greenland. Founded in 2006 and formerly known as Fission Energy Ltd until its name change in July 2013, the company is headquartered at Level 15, 197 St George's Terrace, Perth, Western Australia. Recent developments include a capital raising initiative in October 2025 through converting loans totaling A$1.405 million to fund drilling at Mount Thirsty and provide working capital, alongside a fully underwritten entitlement offer targeting A$2.1 million with a record date of December 17, 2025 following a share consolidation; board changes announced on December 4, 2025; quarterly activities in October 2025 highlighting additional capital measures; and an annual general meeting scheduled for November 2025.
