The company has progressed the phased rehabilitation, modernization, and commercial operationalization of the historic Trincomalee oil tank farm through Trinco Petroleum Terminal Pvt Ltd, a joint venture partnership formed with the state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation to establish a strategic regional energy and petroleum storage hub. To support sustainability and energy transition goals, Lanka IOC has advanced a green energy diversification program, installing rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across its retail station network and deploying electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, the company has expanded its retail distribution footprint by commissioning newly licensed dealer-operated retail fuel outlets, introduced advanced eco-friendly SERVO lubricant formulations conforming to modern emission standards, and scaled up marine bunkering capacity to capture growing maritime traffic along primary Indian Ocean shipping lanes.
