Under its proprietary Samson PVC brand, the company manufactures and distributes unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) pressure pipes; non-pressure drainage and conduit pipes; electrical casing and trunking; rainwater gutters; hose systems; pipe fittings; solvent cements; and plumbing valves for the construction and infrastructure sectors. Headquartered in Galle, Sri Lanka, with corporate offices in Colombo, the company was incorporated in 1988 and listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange in 1992. Samson International operates primary manufacturing facilities located in Bogahagoda, Kalutara, and Baddegama, serving the domestic Sri Lankan market and exporting to over 30 countries across Europe, North America, Australasia, Asia, and the Middle East, supplying global retail and commercial clients such as Aldi, IKEA, Coles, and Woolworths. In recent operational and strategic developments, the company has expanded its international customer footprint by onboarding new multinational retail and distribution accounts while introducing specialized, high-margin industrial rubber formulations. To mitigate volatile grid electricity tariffs and fulfill environmental management objectives under ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications, Samson International has expanded rooftop solar photovoltaic generation capacity across its primary manufacturing plants, enhanced automation across its extrusion and molding lines, and restructured supply chain logistics to navigate raw material price volatility and macroeconomic export headwinds.
