Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, the company operates primarily in India with exports contributing significantly to revenue and a distribution network spanning more than 200 locations serving domestic and international markets in construction, mining, railways, marine and power generation sectors. Recent developments include the February 2025 acquisition of key assets from First Mode to enhance retrofit hybrid solutions for mining and rail decarbonization; expansion into data center power systems, battery energy storage and green technologies; receipt of a $2.1 million grant for hybrid haul truck development; launch of the "Power to Build" online platform for engine integration; and extensions to natural gas engine lines such as L9N and X15N amid robust demand from infrastructure capex and emission norm compliance.
