The company organizes its offerings into several key product and service segments: refined fuels, encompassing high-speed diesel (HSD), motor octane, motor spirit (petrol), superior kerosene oil (SKO), light diesel oil (LDO), and furnace oil (FO); aviation fuels, comprising Jet A-1 aviation turbine fuel delivered through dedicated aircraft refueling facilities at primary domestic and international airports; marine fuels and bunkering services, supplying specialized heavy fuel oil and marine diesel to coastal and ocean-going vessels; lubricants and greases, consisting of automotive crankcase oils, industrial gear oils, hydraulic fluids, turbine oils, transformer oils, and heavy-duty greases marketed under licensed international brand partnerships and state-authorized formulations; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), provided for domestic, commercial, and automotive use; bitumen and specialty chemicals, including paving-grade bitumen, mineral turpentine, and special boiling point solvents; and agrochemicals and related allied products. Jamuna Oil PLC also provides bulk storage, terminaling, pipeline handling, and river barge logistical operations through its primary coastal installation in Chattogram and extensive inland depot network. In recent strategic developments, the company has completed its corporate conversion and name change from Jamuna Oil Company Limited to Jamuna Oil PLC in alignment with updated statutory governance frameworks. Operationally, Jamuna Oil PLC has entered into several commercial partnership agreements with leading private energy operators—including Beximco LPG, Omera Petroleum, and BM Energy—to construct, install, and operate LPG autogas refueling stations and conversion centers across its nationwide retail fuel dealer network. Additionally, the company is advancing modernization projects across its main Guptakhal installation in Chattogram, implementing automated tank gauging and computerized fuel dispatch systems, expanding aviation refueling hydrants at expanding regional airport terminals, and upgrading lubricant blending infrastructure to accommodate rising industrial energy demand. Originally established in 1964 and incorporated in its nationalized form in 1975, Jamuna Oil PLC is headquartered in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
