In recent corporate developments, the institution formally changed its name from Peoples Insurance Company Limited to Peoples Insurance PLC in November 2025 to comply with statutory corporate governance amendments for publicly traded companies on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. The company has also maintained an active capital management strategy by approving consecutive 10.5% cash dividends for the 2024 and 2025 fiscal years, while advancing the modernization of its branch infrastructure and expanding digital claims processing and policy administration capabilities.
