The company is also heavily invested in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in select onshore and offshore areas of Greece, often in strategic partnerships, with plans for an exploration drilling campaign in the Ionian Sea in 2027. Crucially, HELLENiQ ENERGY is executing a strategic transformation towards a lower-carbon future, with ambitious targets to achieve 1 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2025 and over 2 GW by 2030. This shift is supported by significant investments in solar and wind projects, including recent acquisitions of 110 MW of solar parks in Greece in late 2024 and additional wind and solar assets in Romania and Bulgaria in 2025. The company is also developing energy storage solutions and expanding its e-mobility initiatives.
