- Eastern Platinum Limited mines, explores and develops platinum group metal (PGM) and chrome assets in South Africa. The company owns the Crocodile River Mine (CRM) on the western limb of the Bushveld Complex near Brits in the North West Province, where it re-mines and processes tailings from the Zandfontein UG2 tailings facility to produce chrome concentrate sold to Union Goal and PGM concentrates comprising platinum, palladium, rhodium, osmium, iridium and ruthenium; it also extracts PGM from underground ore at the Zandfontein underground section. Additional assets include the Kennedy's Vale and Spitzkop projects and the Mareesburg open-cut PGM project, all on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex in Limpopo Province. Recent developments include the commissioning of a PGM processing facility at CRM in October 2024 to process up to 185,000 tons of underground run-of-mine ore annually; an increase in September 2025 of its revolving commodity finance facility with Investec Bank Limited to R240 million from R110 million to support underground production ramp-up and working capital; and ongoing efforts to improve PGM and chrome output amid Q2 2025 revenue of $10.7 million and year-to-date revenue decline to $39.3 million.
