Engineers India Limited (EIL) is an Indian public sector company specializing in industrial technology, engineering consultancy, and technology licensing primarily for the oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and infrastructure sectors. Founded in 1965 and headquartered in New Delhi, EIL provides comprehensive engineering, procurement, construction, and project management consultancy services from concept through commissioning. Its core offerings include engineering consultancy and design services for petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, pipelines, offshore structures, heat and mass transfer equipment, environmental engineering, and infrastructure projects such as urban development, airports, data centers, and sports complexes. The company also delivers technology services in process design and development and turnkey solutions for complex industrial facilities. EIL operates extensively across India and international markets, including recent significant contracts in Africa and the Middle East. Its clientele comprises government entities, state-owned enterprises, and private sector companies in energy, petrochemicals, infrastructure, and allied sectors. The company holds certifications for quality, occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). In the past two years, Engineers India Limited has made noteworthy advancements including securing a ₹618 crore contract for the expansion of a fertilizer complex in Africa’s Lekki Free Trade Zone, with Dangote Group appointing EIL as Project Management Consultant (PMC) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) contractor. In November 2025, EIL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARAMCO Asia India Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen strategic alliances.
