(Entel) provides integrated telecommunications services in Chile and Peru, encompassing mobile telephony including voice, data, value-added services, broadband, and mobile internet; fixed network operations for voice, high-density data, internet, IT/digital solutions, and related services; fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) connectivity; data center solutions such as server hosting, housing, cloud computing, and infrastructure outsourcing; and call center services. Entel serves individuals through mobile, fixed, and internet offerings; businesses and corporations via connectivity, communication solutions, and governmental telecommunications; wholesalers including telecommunications companies, distributors, and department stores; and operates segments including mobile telephony in Peru via subsidiaries. The company maintains leadership in 5G with a 40.7% market share in Chile, holds a 45.5% share in FTTH connections, and leads mobile internet quality, while expanding FTTH coverage to over 3 million homes in 2024 via a neutral network model. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Entel employs approximately 12,132 people and functions as a subsidiary of Almendral S.A., with key subsidiaries including Entel PCS Telecomunicaciones SA and Entel Peru S.A. Operations span Chile across 15 regions and Peru, where it ranks as the second-largest mobile provider targeting over 30% market share, supported by 20.8 million mobile subscribers consolidated as of 2024.
