- ERShares Private-Public Crossover ETF (XOVR), formerly known as ERShares Entrepreneurs ETF (ENTR), is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that provides investors with exposure to a portfolio of high-growth, entrepreneurial companies through a blend of public equities and select private equity securities; it primarily invests at least 85% in the proprietary ER30TR Index, comprising 30 U.S. large capitalization stocks selected via the Entrepreneur Factor® methodology, which emphasizes bottom-up entrepreneurial characteristics combined with thematic top-down research, and allocates the balance to private holdings such as SpaceX (via Astra Holdings SPV, LP), Klarna, Anduril, and others. The fund targets innovative leaders in sectors including information technology (36%), financials (21%), communication services (15%), consumer discretionary (10%), and health care (9%), offering daily liquidity, low minimum investments, and trading at net asset value on NASDAQ. Launched on November 7, 2017, under the ERShares Entrepreneurs ETF ticker ENTR and managed by EntrepreneurShares LLC (ERShares), founded in 2010 and headquartered in New York, NY, with operations referenced in Boston, MA, the fund serves institutional, retail, and high-net-worth investors focused on U.S.-centric growth opportunities, including indirect pre-IPO access to private markets.
In a major strategic shift on August 29, 2024, the fund changed its ticker from ENTR (CUSIP 293828802) to XOVR (CUSIP 293828877), transitioned from a high-turnover portfolio of 70-93 actively managed public equities to its current structure tracking the ER30TR Index with private equity supplementation, and achieved assets under management of approximately $486 million as of late 2025. Recent enhancements include a December 2024 announcement of a $20 million position in SpaceX (top holding at 12.3%, following a $10 million additional investment with 37% appreciation) and October 2025 exposure to Klarna ahead of its IPO, positioning XOVR as the first ETF to offer pre-IPO private-to-public transition access within a regulated, liquid vehicle. The relaunch has delivered strong performance, with total returns of +37.2% since August 30, 2024 (versus +20.1% for the S&P 500), annualized returns since inception of 12.02% for NAV, and a gross expense ratio of 0.75%, while maintaining a focus on entrepreneurial U.S. large-cap growth without direct international operations beyond U.S.-listed securities.
