Entergy Texas, Inc. (ETI) operates as an investor-owned electric utility that generates, transmits, distributes and sells electricity to approximately 524,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers across 27 counties in southeast Texas, spanning 15,320 square miles; core infrastructure includes 562,436 utility distribution poles, 26,364 transmission poles, 14,681 circuit miles of distribution lines, 2,756 circuit miles of transmission lines and 319 substations; power generation sources encompass natural gas plants such as the 993-megawatt Montgomery County Power Station, the under-construction 1,215-megawatt Orange County Advanced Power Station, the acquired Hardin County Peaking Facility and the 150-megawatt Umbriel Solar facility in Polk County, with ongoing expansions under the Southeast Texas Energy Plan targeting 1,600 megawatts of additional capacity by 2028 through a mix of natural gas, nuclear and renewables.
