- Expo Engineering and Projects Limited (formerly Expo Gas Containers Limited) is an integrated heavy engineering company that manufactures process plant equipment including coded pressure vessels, deaerators, distillation columns and towers, reactors, heat exchangers, liquefiable gas cylinders, Horton spheres, tonners, bullets, mounded storage vessels and cryogenic tanks; constructs fixed and floating roof tanks, cone and dome roof tanks, in-plant and cross-country piping works, material handling systems and structural equipment; and provides maintenance services such as shutdown and revamp for heat exchangers, columns, piping, column trays and internals. Incorporated in 1982 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, with manufacturing facilities at Murbad in Thane district, Maharashtra, the company operates primarily in India across oil and gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, textiles, steel, power, green hydrogen and allied sectors, serving clients including Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Reliance Industries Limited. In July 2025, the company changed its name from Expo Gas Containers Limited to Expo Engineering and Projects Limited to reflect its expanded focus on engineering, procurement and construction solutions beyond gas containers; reported FY25 revenue growth of 52% to Rs 114.74 crore with profit after tax at Rs 3.18 crore; secured recent work orders from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited valued at Rs 25.62 crore for Mumbai Refinery, Rs 26.09 crore from Indian Oil Corporation Limited Mumbai, Rs 5.61 crore for maintenance at COT-Vadinar and Rs 3.41 crore for cone roof tank construction; and maintains an order book exceeding Rs 100 crore with presence in over eleven states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Orissa, Assam, Rajasthan and Ladakh.
