Business
Exxaro Tiles Limited manufactures and markets vitrified tiles primarily for flooring solutions in India. The company produces double charged vitrified tiles, glazed vitrified tiles, flat glazed vitrified tiles and full body vitrified tiles under the Exxaro brand in sizes including 600x600 mm, 800x800 mm, 600x1200 mm, 800x1200 mm and 800x1600 mm; it operates manufacturing facilities in Vadodara and Himmatnagar, Gujarat, with combined annual production capacity exceeding 14.6 million square meters. Exxaro Tiles supplies its products through an extensive dealer network to infrastructure projects encompassing residential, commercial, educational, hospitality, healthcare, government, religious and developer segments. Founded in 2007 as a conversion from the partnership firm Ricasil Ceramic Industries and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company changed its name to Exxaro Tiles Limited in December 2020 and listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under ticker EXXARO.BO; it maintains operations across India supported by nationwide depots, warehouses and a zone-based supply chain. Recent operational developments include the restart of its Padra Unit 1 plant in Gujarat following equipment upgrades and maintenance, alongside a proposal for stock split to enhance liquidity.
