Business
Foxtons Group plc operates as a leading UK estate agency, providing residential property sales, lettings and financial services through a network of over 60 branches primarily in London and select commuter markets. The company offers lettings services including tenant find, rent collection, tenancy renewal and property management; sales agency for private sellers and new home developers; and financial services encompassing mortgage arrangements and related products under contracts with third-party providers. Founded in 1981 by Jon Hunt and headquartered at Building One Chiswick Park in London, Foxtons serves private landlords, tenants, homebuyers and sellers across its core segments, with a portfolio exceeding 31,000 tenancies that generates substantial recurring revenue. In October 2024, Foxtons expanded beyond London through the acquisition of Haslams Estate Agents in Reading and Imagine Property Group in Watford for initial consideration of £12.6 million, adding approximately 2,900 tenancies and enhancing exposure to high-growth commuter regions; the company further strengthened its Watford presence in early 2025 by acquiring Marshall Vizard, a quality lettings business. These strategic moves, funded via its revolving credit facility, support medium-term targets of £240 million in revenue and £50 million in adjusted operating profit, building on 2024 results that included 11% group revenue growth to £163.9 million, 31% sales revenue increase from 20% London market share gains, and ongoing lettings dominance as the UK's largest estate agency brand by scale.
