- Ganesha Ecosphere Limited manufactures recycled polyester staple fiber (rPET fiber), spun yarn, dyed texturized yarn, rPET flakes and rPET chips for bottle grade and textile/sheet grade applications in India and internationally. The company offers specialized rPET fiber variants including solid, dope-dyed, hollow/conjugated, fire retardant, short-cut, micro and trilobal fibers; serves industries such as technical textiles, clothing, hosiery, home decor, packaging, non-wovens, geo-textiles, carpets, upholstery, fillings for pillows and toys, paper, construction, healthcare, FMCG, beauty, pharmaceuticals, beverages and chemicals; and exports its products while recycling 16%-18% of India's PET bottle waste with capacity exceeding 150,000 MTPA. Incorporated in 1987 as Ganesh Polytex Ltd. and renamed Ganesha Ecosphere Ltd. in 2011, the company is headquartered in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. In September 2024, Ganesha Ecosphere formed a joint venture named Ganesha Recycling Chain Private Limited with Race Eco Chain Ltd., wherein Race holds up to 51% and Ganesha up to 49%, to establish multiple PET washing lines across India for producing quality PET flakes and strengthening the recycling supply chain; in June 2025, it invested Rs. 2.45 crore to acquire additional equity shares in this associate. The company is pursuing brownfield expansion at its Warangal facility with Rs. 130 crore investment to add 22,500 MTPA rPET capacity by March 2026, targeting annual revenue of Rs. 225-250 crore, alongside significant capacity expansions totaling Rs. 700-750 crore funded partly by debt and a Rs. 75 crore equity raise via private placement. In November 2025, International Conveyors Limited acquired 1,21,540 equity shares of Ganesha Ecosphere for Rs. 11.28 crore as a portfolio diversification investment.
