G City Ltd (GCT.TA) is an Israel-based real estate company that, through its subsidiaries, owns, develops, manages and operates supermarket-anchored urban shopping centers and retail-based mixed-use properties incorporating commercial, residential and office spaces; its core offerings include retail centers providing omnichannel shopping experiences with leisure and essential services, prime urban office spaces with excellent transportation connectivity, and integrated community hubs in densely populated areas. The company conducts operations across Israel, North America, Brazil, Northern Europe, Central Europe and Eastern Europe, targeting urban markets with a focus on sustainability, smart building technologies and experiential retail enhancements. Founded in 1982 and headquartered at Aharon Becker 8 in Tel Aviv, Israel, G City Ltd is a subsidiary of Norstar Holdings Inc. and was formerly known as Gazit-Globe Ltd., changing its name in May 2022; key subsidiaries encompass Gazit Israel, Gazit Brasil, Gazit Horizons, Gazit Europe and interests in entities such as Citycon and ATR. Recent developments include a November 2024 agreement with Menorah Mivtachim under which Menorah became a 50% partner in four Israeli properties for NIS 0.5 billion, a December 2024 letter of intent signed by G City Europe for the sale of the Flora shopping centre, and in November 2025, a major share purchase increasing its stake in Citycon Oyj to approximately 37.68% and triggering a mandatory public tender offer for the remaining shares following ownership exceeding 50% via its subsidiary Gazit Europe Netherlands BV.
