Harbor Dividend Growth Leaders ETF (GDIV) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks long-term growth of capital and income by investing primarily in equity securities of large-capitalization companies with a history or prospect of paying stable or increasing dividends. The fund employs a bottom-up fundamental investment process to select holdings, focusing on dividend-paying companies in developed markets across sectors such as information technology, financials, health care, industrials, and consumer discretionary; it maintains a concentrated portfolio of approximately 42-50 holdings, with top allocations including Broadcom Inc. (AVGO), Williams Companies Inc., and Bank of America Corp. GDIV offers quarterly distributions, with a trailing twelve-month dividend yield of approximately 1.23% and an expense ratio of 0.50%, and trades on the NYSE Arca exchange. Sub-advised by Westfield Capital Management Company, L.P., with William A. Muggia as portfolio manager, the fund benchmarks against the NASDAQ US Dividend Achievers Select Total Return Index.
Launched as an ETF on May 23, 2022, through the conversion and acquisition of assets from the Westfield Capital Dividend Growth Fund (inception July 26, 2013), GDIV inherited the predecessor's performance history and approximately $150 million in assets under management at the time, providing investors with a more tax-efficient structure and lower fees. Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc., headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, serves as the investment adviser and sponsors the fund as part of its lineup of actively managed ETFs featuring partnerships with boutique managers.
As of late 2025, GDIV manages over $215 million in assets and continues its strategy amid market volatility, delivering a 5.20% NAV return in Q3 2025 driven by resilient dividend growth holdings; no major acquisitions, new product launches, or strategic shifts have been announced in the last 1-2 years beyond ongoing portfolio management and quarterly distributions.
