- The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping) is India's largest private sector shipping company, founded in 1948 and headquartered in Mumbai, India. The company operates a diversified fleet serving global markets, primarily transporting crude oil, petroleum products, liquefied gas, and dry bulk commodities through its shipping segment; it also provides offshore exploration and production services, including exploratory drilling rigs, anchor handling tug supply vessels, platform supply vessels, and multi-purpose support vessels, via its wholly owned subsidiary Greatship (India) Limited.
