Gilat Telecom Global Ltd Gilat Telecom Global Ltd (GLTL.TA) provides satellite, fiber optic and radio-based communication services to mobile network operators, telecommunications companies, internet service providers, governments, enterprises, security organizations and institutions in Israel, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and internationally. The company offers data communication services including internet connectivity and infrastructure, internal corporate networks, cloud services, management of communication infrastructure for internet providers and cellular operators; consulting, network characterization and solutions on fiber and satellite infrastructures with equipment sales, installation, maintenance and operation; mobile satellite communication encompassing equipment supply, data and telephony services; broadband connectivity solutions; and specialized government and defense offerings such as secure satellite mesh networks, tactical squad and mobile headquarters communications, drive-away/on-the-move communications, satellite communications for autonomous systems, armored vehicles, helicopters, aircraft and maritime platforms, ISTAR solutions with observation balloons and drone systems, homeland security tools including satellite phones, trackers, smartphone integration for global voice and text, personal satellite terminals, rapid deployment private networks blending cellular and satellite, perimeter surveillance, rapid CCTV, jammers for WiFi/cellular/GPS/satellite, border protection with intruder detection, anti-drone systems, multi-sensor poles and tower security, VIP protection featuring convoy drones and mobile jammers, first responder command-and-control with personal terminals, and disaster recovery monitoring. Gilat Telecom Global Ltd, formerly known as Satcom Systems Ltd, was founded in 1968 and is headquartered at 21 Yegia Kapayim Street in Petah Tikva, Israel. The company operates through segments including Global Business focused on internet connectivity and infrastructure primarily in Africa, Security and Government covering mobile/fixed satellite data and telephony, and Communications and Internet in Israel for private and business customers; it manages approximately 5.5 Gbps satellite capacity and 27 Gbps fiber capacity across 15 satellites, with 5 international teleports, 14 hubs/PoPs in Africa and 2 in Europe, serving over 1500 sites in more than 50 countries.
