Gencell Ltd Gencell Ltd (GNCL.TA) is an Israel-based manufacturing technology company that develops, produces, markets and sells backup power supply systems based on alkaline fuel cells, generating green electricity without carbon dioxide emissions; its core products include GenCell BOX, a long-duration 5kW backup power solution for telecom and critical communications; GenCell REX, a 5kW utility backup system for substations during outages; GenCell FOX, an off-grid power solution for telecom sites, schools, homes, hospitals, border protection, CCTV, water purification, pumps and heating; GenCell Evox and IoT Remote Manager for remote monitoring; as well as hydrogen and ammonia fuel cell clean energy solutions serving telecom, homeland security, healthcare, utilities, automated equipment and rural electrification markets. Founded in 2011 and headquartered at 7 Hatnufa Street in Petah Tikva, Israel, the company operates globally with distribution and support networks in North America, Latin America, Europe and Mexico, employing over 100 professionals including energy experts, physicists and engineers. In recent developments, Gencell Ltd expanded its partnership with CFE, Mexico's largest utility, securing a US$4.4 million order in September 2024 for additional fuel cell units to enhance network resilience and support clean energy transition, with rollout targeted for completion by 2025 through local partner Gencell Energy de Mexico.
