- Great Quest Gold Ltd., formerly known as Great Quest Fertilizer Ltd., is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, evaluation, exploration, and development of mineral properties in West Africa and southern Africa. The company explores primarily for gold deposits, along with lithium and phosphate resources; its flagship assets include the Damara Gold Project encompassing 300,000 hectares in Namibia, the Khorixas Gold Project, Omatjete Gold and Lithium Project, and Outjo Gold Project through interests in Belmont Mineral Exploration (PTY) Ltd., as well as the Tilemsi Phosphate Project covering 1,206 square kilometers in eastern Mali with an inferred resource of approximately 50 million tonnes at 24.3% P2O5. In July 2024, it changed its name from Great Quest Fertilizer Ltd. to Great Quest Gold Ltd. to reflect its strategic pivot toward gold exploration; earlier in 2024, it advanced the acquisition of up to 70% interest in Belmont Mineral Exploration via an agreement assigned in December 2023, committing initial funding for a 25% stake and exploration expenditures totaling the equivalent of USD 5.4 million for additional interests, with the initial phase closing subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval; it also closed the final tranche of a non-brokered private placement in September 2025 and allowed its Sanoukou Gold property in Mali to lapse in February 2024.
