Gravita India Limited Gravita India Limited recycles and processes lead, aluminum, and plastic materials into refined products and provides turnkey recycling solutions to customers across battery manufacturing, cable, paint, pigment, die-casting, and plastics industries. Gravita India Limited operates manufacturing facilities in Jaipur, Kathua, Mundra, and Chittoor in India, plus international sites in Romania, Ghana, Mozambique, Togo, Senegal, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka, serving over 375 customers in more than 38 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, with over 50% of revenue from exports. Founded in 1992 by Rajat Agrawal and headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the company maintains a global production capacity exceeding 200,000 metric tons annually through 11 recycling plants. In recent developments, Gravita India Limited's step-down subsidiary Gravita Netherlands BV signed a memorandum of understanding in September 2024 to acquire a 17,000 MTPA waste tyre recycling plant in Romania for approximately 40 crore rupees via a special purpose vehicle, marking its first European recycling facility and expanding rubber operations alongside existing sites in Africa; additionally, in June 2025, it incorporated Recyclers Dominicana RDS, S.A.S. as a 99% step-down subsidiary in the Dominican Republic to further geographic diversification.
