Goldman Sachs MarketBeta US Equity ETF (GSUS) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide investment results corresponding to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Solactive GBS United States Large & Mid Cap Index. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in securities included in the index or depositary receipts representing such securities; it offers exposure to approximately 400 large- and mid-capitalization U.S. equity securities selected and weighted by market capitalization across diversified sectors including technology, consumer cyclical, communication services, and financial services. Top holdings typically include Microsoft Corp., NVIDIA Corp., Apple Inc., Amazon.com Inc., and Meta Platforms Inc. Class A, representing around 35% of assets; the ETF maintains a low expense ratio of 0.07%, quarterly dividend distributions, and total net assets exceeding $2.6 billion as of late 2025. Launched on May 12, 2020, and listed on Cboe BZX, the ETF is managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., founded in 1869 and headquartered in New York. It primarily targets institutional and retail investors seeking broad, low-cost U.S. equity market exposure in the large blend category; geographic operations focus on U.S. stocks comprising over 99% of assets, with minimal non-U.S. exposure. In a significant recent development, Goldman Sachs Asset Management announced on December 1, 2025, an agreement to acquire Innovator Capital Management for approximately $2 billion in cash and equity, subject to performance targets and expected to close in Q2 2026; this transaction adds $28 billion in assets under supervision from 159 defined outcome ETFs, expanding the firm's ETF lineup and capabilities in active strategies utilizing derivatives and options for income, buffers, and growth outcomes.
