Business
Goldman Sachs Enhanced U.S. Equity ETF (GUSE), issued by Goldman Sachs ETF Trust and managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P., seeks long-term growth of capital by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of small-, mid-, and large-cap U.S. companies considered positioned for sustainable growth; it employs a fundamental equity growth process evaluating high-quality businesses based on strong franchises, favorable long-term prospects, and excellent management, enhanced by quantitative factors such as valuation, profitability, and volatility; up to 20% of net assets may be allocated to foreign securities, including emerging markets, and up to 10% to fixed income securities, including high yield debt. The ETF, with approximately $348 million in assets under management and listing on The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC under ticker GUSE, measures performance against the S&P 500 Index and maintains a total annual operating expense ratio of 0.30%. In a major strategic shift completed on December 8, 2025, GUSE converted from its predecessor mutual fund, the Goldman Sachs Enhanced U.S. Equity Fund (originally launched January 31, 2008, and previously known as Goldman Sachs Flexible Cap Growth Fund until 2017 and Goldman Sachs Enhanced Core Equity Fund until April 25, 2025), as part of a $1.5 billion conversion of four mutual funds to actively managed ETFs offering enhanced tax efficiency, trading flexibility, transparency, and reduced costs; this expansion aligns with Goldman Sachs Asset Management's growing ETF platform, now comprising 67 strategies globally, and follows the December 1, 2025, agreement to acquire Innovator Capital Management, managing $28 billion in defined outcome ETFs, positioning GSAM as a top ten active ETF provider. Headquartered in New York and serving institutional and individual investors globally through financial intermediaries, GUSE holds a diversified portfolio of approximately 116 equities, with top positions including NVIDIA (7.94%), Apple (6.67%), Microsoft (6.59%), Amazon.com (4.48%), and Broadcom (3.29%), and exhibits a portfolio turnover rate of 79% as of August 31, 2024. Portfolio management is led by Kevin Martens, Jenny Chang, and Raj Garigipati since 2025.
