Global X Funds – Global X PureCap MSCI Consumer Staples ETF is an exchange-traded fund that provides investors with uncapped, market-capitalization-weighted exposure to the U.S. consumer staples sector. Listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker GXPS, the Fund seeks investment results that generally correspond, before fees and expenses, to the price and yield performance of the MSCI USA Consumer Staples Index. The Fund is sponsored by Global X Funds, a Global X ETFs/Mirae Asset Global Investments affiliate headquartered at 605 Third Avenue, New York, New York. The Fund invests principally in U.S.-listed equity securities classified by MSCI under the Global Industry Classification Standard as consumer staples companies; it uses representative sampling to seek to replicate the investment profile of its underlying index and may invest in a subset of index constituents, exchange-traded funds, and other securities with similar risk and return characteristics. Its investment exposure includes food, beverage and tobacco companies; consumer staples distribution and retail businesses; household and personal-products manufacturers; and related consumer-defensive businesses. The index applies free-float-adjusted market-capitalization weighting and does not impose company-level weight caps, which can result in concentrated exposure to the sector’s largest issuers. As of August 31, 2026, leading portfolio holdings included Walmart Inc., Costco Wholesale Corp., The Procter & Gamble Co., The Coca-Cola Co., Philip Morris International Inc. and PepsiCo, Inc.; food, beverage and tobacco represented 44.3% of assets, consumer staples distribution and retail represented 37.7%, and household and personal products represented 18.0%. GXPS commenced operations on July 22, 2025, representing Global X Funds’ recent expansion of its PureCap ETF lineup. The launch introduced a passive, single-trade vehicle designed to give investors transparent, concentrated, and systematically rebalanced access to major U.S. consumer staples companies, with potential ETF tax efficiency and exchange-traded liquidity. The Fund’s latest material operational development is its transition from launch-stage operations into its first full year of public trading and ongoing implementation of its representative-sampling, MSCI USA Consumer Staples Index-tracking strategy; its 2026 summary prospectus continues to identify this index as the Fund’s benchmark and investment objective.
