Business
Hamelin Gold Limited (ASX:HMG) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on gold projects in Western Australia. The company holds 100% interest in the belt-scale West Tanami Gold Project spanning 2,277 square kilometers in the underexplored Tanami Gold Province, featuring 100 kilometers of strike along the Trans-Tanami structural corridor and targets including open high-grade gold intersections, multi-kilometer geochemical anomalies and untested geophysical anomalies; it also owns the Yilgarn Gold Project with prospects such as Anderson, Ularring, Jazz, Fremlins, Camel, Far SW, Hutch's and Ginger, where it conducts reverse circulation and diamond drilling, aircore drilling, airborne electromagnetic geophysics and ultrafine geochemical sampling. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Subiaco, the company targets major gold discoveries in a Tier 1 jurisdiction using modern exploration techniques. Recent developments include a A$2.8 million placement in April 2025 led by Gold Fields, which increased its stake to 17.7%, with funds allocated to accelerated drilling across West Tanami and Yilgarn projects; a co-funding grant of up to A$330,907 under the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme for Jazz prospect drilling and geophysics; and promising exploration results at West Tanami reported in November 2025.
