Business
American Eagle Gold Corp. (TSXV: AE; OTCQB: AMEGF) is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring and exploring copper-gold porphyry properties in North America. Incorporated in 2018 and headquartered at 55 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, the company formerly known as Pacific Precious Inc. until its name change in October 2020, advances its flagship 100%-owned NAK copper-gold porphyry project in the Babine porphyry district of west-central British Columbia, Canada; it also holds the Golden Gate project, comprising the Golden Trend and contiguous Garden Gate Pass properties totaling 7,574 acres in Nevada's Cortez mining district adjacent to Barrick Gold and Newmont's joint venture. NAK features a large near-surface mineralizing system exceeding 1.5 km by 1.5 km with historical and recent drilling intercepts of high-grade copper-gold-molybdenum mineralization, including zones beyond shallow historical depths; exploration targets broad potassic and phyllic alteration systems identified via geophysics, geochemistry, and drilling, supported by excellent infrastructure including all-season roads, proximity to rail, highway, powerlines, and towns such as Smithers, Houston, and Burns Lake. The company recently secured 100% ownership of NAK in March 2025 through option exercise; formed strategic equity partnerships with Teck Resources and South32 over the past two years, including South32's additional investments totaling around $29 million in late 2024 and 2025 that bolstered cash reserves above $37 million; commenced an ambitious helicopter-supported 2025 drill program in September with three rigs targeting four untested geophysical-geochemical anomalies in step-outs, planning 15,000 meters to expand near-surface and deeper high-grade zones into December with assays into 2026; and approved 4.525 million stock options to directors following its September 2025 annual general meeting.
