Business
Homerun Resources Inc. Homerun Resources Inc. (TSXV:HMR) engages in the exploration, development and processing of high-purity quartz (HPQ) silica sand deposits to produce vital industrial inputs including solar glass, silicon, silicon carbide, thermoelectric materials and advanced energy storage solutions; the company advances vertically integrated operations across silica extraction, solar glass manufacturing, long-duration energy storage systems and AI-enabled energy management platforms. Incorporated in 1980 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Homerun Resources operates key projects such as the 100% owned Tatooine Silica project spanning 3,958 hectares in Brisco, British Columbia, and the Guidoni Belmonte District silica mineral rights in Bahia, Brazil, complemented by lump quartz properties in Ceara, Brazil; it targets markets in renewable energy, solar panel manufacturing, electronics, construction and rare earth element processing primarily in North and South America. The company pursues a three-phase strategic plan emphasizing energy transition verticals, including partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for enduring thermal energy storage systems utilizing its silica sand, commercialization of perovskite-integrated solar glass through acquisitions like Halocell (Europe), development of Latin America's first dedicated high-efficiency solar glass facility and AI energy control solutions. Recent developments encompass the October 2025 binding memorandum of understanding with Magnum Mining & Exploration Limited (ASX:MGU) to evaluate ultra-pure silica for rare earth element (REE) separation technologies from Brazilian ores; completion of the Guidoni Belmonte District silica mineral rights acquisition in February 2025; assignment of the CBPM lease over Belmonte silica rights in August 2025; signing of a memorandum for land donation and infrastructure support in Brazil in May 2025 with local entities; listing on TradeGate Exchange in Germany to enhance European liquidity; engagement of Minerali Industriali for third-party engineering; and inclusion in the 2025 TSX Venture 50 ranking for strong market performance. Formerly EnviroTek Remediation Inc., the company rebranded to Homerun Resources Inc. in August 2021 to focus on silica specialization outside China.
