Business
HP Adhesives Limited manufactures and markets a broad portfolio of adhesives and sealants in India and over 40 countries worldwide; core products include PVC, CPVC and uPVC solvent cements for plumbing and sanitary applications; silicone sealants and acrylic sealants for glazing, construction and building operations; synthetic rubber-based contact adhesives for footwear, automotive, foam-furnishing and woodwork; PVA white glue adhesives; gasket shellac; epoxy adhesives and cyanoacrylates launched in fiscal 2025; ancillary items such as PVC pipe lubricants, ball valves, thread seals, tapes and FRP manhole covers for drainage and architectural solutions. The company, founded in 1987 as a partnership firm by Haresh Motwani and headquartered at Unique House, Chakala Cross Road, Andheri East, Mumbai, India, operates manufacturing plants in Mumbai and maintains a pan-India distribution network spanning 23 states and 4 union territories with over 750 distributors and 50,000 dealers. Recent developments encompass the commissioning of silicone sealant lines at its second plant in 2023 and solar panel installations there in 2025; establishment of wholly-owned subsidiary Unitybond Solutions Private Limited in April 2024, which received INR 20 million funding from the company in September 2024; and expansion into new product categories including epoxy adhesives and cyanoacrylates during fiscal 2025 to diversify its multi-industry offerings in plumbing, construction, drainage, water distribution and general-purpose applications.
