iShares iBonds 2031 Term High Yield and Income ETF (IBHK) is a BlackRock-managed, iShares-branded exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. dollar-denominated, high yield and other income-generating corporate bonds maturing in 2031; it is designed to provide monthly income, defined maturity exposure, and the ability to build a bond ladder while managing interest rate risk. The fund launched on May 22, 2024, is listed on Cboe BZX, and is based in the iShares platform operated by BlackRock, Inc., headquartered in New York, New York. IBHK invests in a diversified universe of U.S. dollar-denominated taxable fixed-rate high yield and BBB-rated corporate bonds scheduled to mature between January 1, 2031 and December 15, 2031, with holdings that have included issuers such as Panther Escrow Issuer LLC, CCO Holdings LLC, UKG Inc., Carvana Co., Allied Universal Holdco LLC, Venture Global LNG Inc., Windstream Services LLC, and JetBlue Airways Corporation. The fund’s key terms include a 0.35% expense ratio, monthly distributions, a benchmark of the Bloomberg 2031 Term High Yield and Income Index, and a target termination in December 2031, when it is expected to unwind and distribute assets in cash to shareholders. Recent developments include the continued buildout of the target-maturity iBonds franchise and ongoing portfolio updates with fund assets and holdings as of September 2026, along with the fund’s current net assets of approximately $76.5 million and 200 holdings.
