The firm manages $124 billion in assets under management as of September 30, 2025, serving institutional investors, corporates and real asset owners through long-term closed-end funds and direct investments; its strategies include structured and equity financing for private companies, debt financing for corporate borrowers, venture debt, credit opportunities and secondary market transactions. Founded in 1989 and headquartered at Procession House, 55 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JW, United Kingdom, ICG plc operates from 21 offices worldwide across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, including recent expansions with new offices in Munich and Zurich in 2025 and Toronto in 2024. In November 2025, the firm announced a long-term strategic and equity partnership with Amundi, under which Amundi will acquire a 9.9% economic stake and the partners plan to develop European evergreen funds focused on private equity secondaries and private debt targeted at wealth investors during the first half of 2026. Also in November 2025, ICG led a landmark €2 billion refinancing and growth financing for Funecap Group, the largest French direct lending transaction of the year, featuring an innovative debt special purpose vehicle partnered with its limited partners. The company, formerly known as Intermediate Capital Group plc, divides its operations into a fund management company segment that sources and manages investments and an investment company segment that co-invests alongside third parties.
