- IFB Agro Industries Limited manufactures alcohol, bottles branded alcoholic beverages, processes marine foods, and sells aquaculture feeds in India and for export markets. Incorporated in 1982 and headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company operates through two main segments: Spirit, Spirituous Beverages and Allied Products, and Marine Products; it offers extra neutral alcohol, Indian-made foreign liquor, ready-to-cook and ready-to-fry seafood products including black tiger prawns, vannamei shrimp, basa fish fillets, silver pomfrets and squid tubes, shrimp and fish feeds under the Nutrafeed brand, aqua healthcare products under Nutra-Essentials, food-grade carbon dioxide, dry ice, and feed nutrition boosters under NutraSigma, with processing facilities in Kolkata and Andhra Pradesh and exports to the EU, US, Canada, Middle East, Russia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and others. The company maintains aqua shops serving shrimp farmers in West Bengal and supplies seafood to domestic food services; in 2025, it acquired Cargill India Private Limited's entire commercial compound shrimp feed and freshwater fish feed business on a slump sale basis for Rs 110 crore, including manufacturing facilities in Vijayawada and Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, with the transaction completed on July 31; it also closed its wholly owned subsidiary IFB Agro Marine (FZE) in Sharjah, UAE, effective September 30, 2025.
