It operates three manufacturing units in Uttarakhand, including facilities at Kashipur and Gorakhpur, five R&D centers, and a US subsidiary, while emphasizing sustainability through initiatives like zero-discharge ethanol processes, reduced carbon footprints, and over 65,000 trees planted. Recent developments include securing a Rs 1,264.2 crore ethanol supply contract under the Ethanol Blending Program for 2024-25; forming a strategic partnership in November 2024 with Amrut Distilleries to manufacture, distribute, and sell premium whisky brands in North India; launching new grain-based ethanol plants at Gorakhpur and Kashipur in 2022; and previous joint ventures such as with Clariant in 2021 for IMFL brands, alongside expansions in bio-polymers, thiocolchicoside, and nicotine production.
