Business
Innodata Inc. operates as a global data engineering company specializing in the development and deployment of generative and traditional artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Its core products and services include AI data preparation such as data collection, annotation, and training of AI algorithms; deployment and integration of AI models; digital data solutions delivered through segments like Digital Data Solutions, Synodex, and Agility PR Solutions; and specialized medical data transformation services enabling structured data extraction from unstructured medical records. The company offers AI consulting, supervised fine-tuning, model safety evaluation, and large language model (LLM) development to technology, finance, healthcare, and other sectors. Its geographic operations span the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, and other countries. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, Innodata maintains a global workforce and AI platforms to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions. Recently, Innodata has made significant advances in its AI product portfolio and client engagements. In 2024 and 2025, it launched Intelligent Insights™, a generative AI-powered media intelligence feature integrated into its Agility PR Solutions platform that enables real-time media monitoring, brand analysis, and language translations using large language model technology. It also introduced a Generative AI Test & Evaluation Platform powered by NVIDIA technology for enterprise AI vulnerability detection and optimization. The company secured multiple large language model development contracts with major "Magnificent Seven" Big Tech customers, expected to add tens of millions in annualized run rate revenue. Additionally, Innodata strengthened its AI capabilities through the 2023 acquisition of DocGenix AI, enhancing intelligent document processing offerings. Vanguard Group notably increased its strategic investment in Innodata shares in late 2024, reflecting strong market confidence. Throughout these developments, Innodata continues to grow its AI-driven digital data solutions, focusing on expanding multi-year contracts and launching innovative platforms that support emerging AI needs globally.
