Intelbras S.A. - Indústria de Telecomunicação Eletrônica Brasileira (INTB3.SA) manufactures and distributes electronic security, networking, communication, and energy solutions primarily for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Brazil and select Latin American and African markets. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in São José, Santa Catarina, Brazil, the company operates through three main segments: Security, offering cameras, digital video recorders, alarms, sensors, access control systems, locks, intercoms, fire detection products, vehicle monitoring, and related software and accessories; Communication, providing routers, switches, 5G and Wi-Fi equipment, optical fiber products, racks, outdoor radios, PoE injectors, cables, phones, PBX systems, webcams, projectors, wireless peripherals, headsets, smart speakers, and cloud applications; and Energy, supplying UPS systems, batteries, surge protectors, electric vehicle chargers, solar inverters including the Ion series and forthcoming hybrid models, on-grid and off-grid solar panels, generators, and illumination sensors. Intelbras maintains a nationwide distribution network in Brazil supported by extensive research and development facilities and service centers. In recent developments, the company launched Ion inverters in late 2024 with enhanced efficiency and extended warranties, plans Grid Zero and hybrid inverter introductions in 2025, acquired Renovigi Energia Solar in 2022 to bolster its solar portfolio, secured a BRL 200 million BNDES credit line in early 2025 for telecom financing to internet service providers, and expanded production capacity amid ERP system transitions while pursuing ISP market share growth through strategic collaborations.
