Business
Renaissance International IPO ETF (IPOS) is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the Renaissance International IPO Index, providing investors with exposure to the largest, most liquid newly public companies listed on international exchanges outside the United States. The ETF holds a diversified portfolio of common stocks, depositary receipts, real estate investment trusts, and partnership units from recent initial public offerings, primarily within the first three years of listing; constituents are weighted by float-adjusted market capitalization with individual caps at 10% and rebalanced quarterly to incorporate new IPOs while removing seasoned stocks. Key holdings as of late 2025 include Galderma Group AG (Switzerland), Horizon Robotics (Hong Kong), J&T Global Express Ltd. (Hong Kong), Midea Group Co. Ltd. (Hong Kong), and Lottomatica Group SpA (Italy), spanning sectors such as consumer discretionary (22.9%), technology (18.3%), industrials (18.2%), and consumer staples (16.9%), with primary geographic exposure to emerging Asia (32.68%), the Eurozone (28.77%), Japan (14.87%), and Europe excluding the Eurozone (10.69%). Launched on October 6, 2014, and headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, the ETF is managed by Renaissance Capital LLC, with State Street as fund administrator, Foreside Fund Services as distributor, and FTSE as index calculator; it features a net expense ratio of 0.80%, quarterly distributions, and options trading availability on the NYSE Arca exchange. In December 2025, the ETF declared a quarterly distribution of $0.0179 per share, reflecting ongoing commitment to shareholder returns amid a portfolio net asset value of approximately $5 million; it continues quarterly index rebalancing to capture fresh international IPO activity, such as potential additions from global markets, without reported major acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or structural changes for Renaissance Capital or the fund in the last 1-2 years.
