Business
Isramco Negev 2 Limited Partnership engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil, natural gas, and condensate primarily in Israel, with additional operations in Jordan and Egypt. The partnership holds significant working interests in key offshore gas fields including Tamar (28.75%), where it produces natural gas supplied to customers such as Israel Electric Company Ltd., Dalit (28.75%), Shimshon (79%), Daniel (59%), Med Yavne (49.86%), and others; its products consist of natural gas and condensate serving domestic energy needs in heavy industry, electricity generation, and transportation sectors. Founded in 1989 and headquartered at 8 Granit Street, Petah Tikva, Israel, the partnership operates through cooperation with Isramco Oil and Gas Ltd. as general partner and Isramco Management (1988) Ltd. as nominee holder, with shares listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (ISRA.TA). In a major recent development, Isramco Negev 2 signed an agreement on November 20, 2025, to acquire Naphtha Exploration LP for approximately ILS 1.7 billion, expanding its asset portfolio in Israeli oil and gas properties. The partnership also participates in the ongoing Tamar gas field expansion, with partners including Chevron agreeing in 2024 to boost production capacity to 1.6 billion cubic feet per day through investments exceeding $670 million targeted for completion in 2025, supporting increased exports to Egypt and domestic supply amid rising regional energy demand.
