Business
Isrotel Ltd. (ISRO.TA) operates and manages a leading chain of hotels primarily in Israel, offering a diverse portfolio of accommodations including luxury resorts, family-oriented properties, concept-designed hotels, and facilities for business and leisure travelers. The company provides comprehensive services such as rooms and suites; dining rooms and high-class restaurants; conference halls and business lounges; bars, pubs, and wine bars; swimming pools; spas and health clubs; entertainment venues including movie theaters; event halls for culture, sports, and celebrations; and vacation packages tailored to various customer segments. Founded in 1980 and headquartered at 29 Hamered Street in Tel Aviv, Israel, Isrotel focuses on key tourist destinations like Eilat, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv, while expanding internationally through its Aluma brand. Isrotel employs approximately 5,500 people and maintains a strong presence in the consumer discretionary lodging sector, with revenue primarily from hotel operations across Israel and emerging markets abroad. In recent developments, the company launched the Aluma international hotel chain in March 2024, opening the Skylark and Anise hotels in Athens, Greece, with a third Athens property, ADIA Hotel, slated for Q1 2025; Aluma acquired Rome's historic Savoy Hotel for approximately $75 million in 2024, planning a €30 million renovation for a Q3 2026 relaunch under its brand, alongside development of an ultra-luxury suite hotel on Via de la Scrope. Additionally, Isrotel announced a $270 million investment in 2025 to open five new hotels across Israel, expanding its domestic portfolio to 28 properties; the founding Lewis family sold a NIS 210 million stake in June 2025, marking their first divestment since inception.
